The summer siesta is over.
We want to thank you all for a great first year in business, we could not have done it without your support. Even though our anniversary back in July was anticlimactic due to our business partner Ashton being in Europe all summer developing his Fine Art Business and my family was getting ready for the birth of our second child, we both tipped our glasses in appreciation for what we have accomplished with Southbound Apparel this year. With the summer months behind us and all of the wrinkles ironed out of developing a business we are now moving forward with new products and exponential growth.
November on the Gulf Coast is a time for migrating fish and clean offshore surf. This works out well for us because if it’s too rough to fish we can always hop in the water for a surf. This can pose a challenge when there is work to be done but we figured it out this year and even managed to redesign our webpage and start a month long series of sales calls in 4 different states; all while catching a few fish and a bunch of waves. To kick off our fall growth campaign we set up a table for the Greater Gulf Coast Arts Festival the first weekend of November and we had a great turnout, so good in fact we currently have a very limited number of L-XXL shirts. But we are gathering orders and will put in a new order as soon as possible with all of your favorite designs and several new ones. Keep your eyes open for Southbound Apparel in your area and if you have a favorite store you would like us to be in – please send us a message on the contact us page and we will reach out to them as we are actively seeking new dealers.
Until next month – Tight lines and smooth seas
